About Joshua

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Florida State University.

Beginning in fall 2018 I will be a visiting scholar at The University of the West Indies. I research international migration, particularly public attitudes towards immigrants and immigration policy. I am also interested in political psychology, survey methodology, experimental design, and causal inference.

My research has been funded by the Fulbright U.S. Student Program and by the International Dissertation Research Fellowship at FSU.

Prior to my time at FSU, I received my M.Sc. in International Public Policy from University College London. I also worked for a year with Junior Achievement of Central Florida as a Volunteer Coordinator.
